A show I like on Netflix is “LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS,” a massive nerd demonic fever dream. It is an adult animated anthology television series created by Tim Miller. The show is an anthology of a wide diversity of stories, settings and styles of animation ranging from the redneck in mech sites battling hordes of alien monsters, to a haunted space drop ship and its kill count, to robots exploring the death of humanity, and even a special forces team finding cthulhu in chains.
This show harkens back to the heavy metal adult cartoons of the 80s for their surreal and dark themes. The show will have you laughing for 30 minutes, then covering your eyes in horror. It’s some of the most creative writing I have seen in a while on Netflix. The show can get old at times but still holds up to most things on Netflix. It’s fun to spend a night just to chill and go roller coaster with your emotions. The animation style stands out, and the sheer absurdity of this show blew me away. Give it a shot.
