On Saturday, Aug. 17, Duck Donuts opened its first store in Madison. It is located at 3308 University Avenue in Madison.
Duck Donuts is a locally owned and operated store, featuring full complement of food, beverages and other items that make the brand unique.
This was my first time visiting a Duck Donuts store. There was a long waiting line of mostly new customers.
The service was smooth and quick. The food was fresh and tasty. I got my food through one of their app machines, that allows the customers to review what to buy from their menu. It was nice not having to wait to be served by the cashier.
I spoke with Dave Carin, the manager, and he explained how the process was going and how the team wants to ensure quality services to the customers.
I was impressed on my first visit. I would recommend Duck Donuts to anyone who wants to check out on the west side of Madison.
