A show that came out this past summer is the amazing second season of “A Dance of Dragons,” the prequel to “Game of Thrones” dealing with a civil war amongst the house of dragons, the ancestors of the two main characters from “Game of Thrones.”
The show is filled with political games of wits and betrayal, broken relationships and romance in the face of a royal family civil war. Oh, and yeah massive dragon battles and war scenes of medieval brutality.
The world building this time around is amazing, delving deep into the lore of the books and an amazing cast including Matt Smith. The show really grabs our attention and pulls the heartstrings, as the last season deals with women’s issues and rights shown through a medieval fantasy world.
The show will make you hate, love and cry but hey, it’s a “Game of Thrones,” what do we expect? Like I said, there are massive dragon battles and dragons are why most of us watch this anyway… well other reasons. I would say don’t watch this if you are under the age of 18!
‘Dance of Dragons’ even more violent
