The STEM Club’s goal is to serve as a college extracurricular activity to engage students of all programs and backgrounds. We provide resources for students to participate in STEM activities. We also educate students about career opportunities and help them develop their professional skills.
There are many professions across multiple industries that incorporate STEM. The STEM Club provides students with experience and skills hoping to expose them to opportunities they may not have known about. STEM Club also serves as a path to improve and expand the Madison College Community.
Who can participate in the STEM Club? Any Madison College Student with interest in science, technology, engineering or math.
What’s your next event or activity? The STEM Center is hosting a STEM Seminar from 1 p.m .to 2:15 p.m. in Truax Room D1630. The topic will be “how to choose a major/career in STEM.” Students can register online. There’s also a STEM Club meeting on Friday, Sept. 15, at 10:30 a.m..
When and where does the club meet? The STEM Club will have its weekly meetings through the semester on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Truax Room C2443.
