National First-Gen Week events are a time to honor the dedication and energy given by first-gen students, faculty and staff members. We will be honoring the semester’s Tri-Alpha Honor Society inductees and the achievements of Madison College’s very own first-gen professionals in STEM. Celebrate with us on Nov. 8 from 11:15 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. in Truax room D1630.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Jennifer Jackowski, is a former Madison College student who teaches engineering and chemistry courses at Madison College. This event will provide students with a platform for networking, mentorship opportunities, unique career insights of additional STEM professionals, and hopes to encourage diversity and inclusivity into the future of STEM.
Explore the limitless potential within our first-generation community at Madison College and witness the immense contributions to the world of science and technology that they make.
