Madison College Student Ambassadors help new and prospective students feel more connected to the college community, build awareness of college services and programs, support student leadership growth, and reach out to the greater community. Student Ambassadors assist at WolfPack Welcome and many other Madison College events that support students.
Who can join your club: Students who are enrolled in six or more degree credits and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 are eligible to apply to become a Student Ambassador. Applications are accepted in December for the spring semester and in April and May for the fall semester.
When and where does the club meet: The Student Ambassadors meet every Tuesday at 3 p.m. and Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the Truax Student Life Office, Room D1260.
What are some of the events and activities your club hosts throughout the year: The Student Ambassadors help Student Life with WolfPack Welcome, Campus Fun Day, Involvement Fairs, Campus Cookouts, Graduation and many other events. In addition, they host their own activities including a visit to a corn maze on Oct. 19 and a hot chocolate bar at Truax on Nov. 8.
Why should students join this club? Students should apply to become an ambassador because they enjoy assisting others and contributing to their success as well as the success of Madison College.
