Madison College’s Student Experience Advisory Committee (SEAC) wants to hear about your experiences at the college with advising, technology, financial aid, course planning, and more. Your feedback will help create an environment that provides personalized student interactions throughout the college.
SEAC is looking for a diverse group of students represented from all our campuses and who are not typically heard through other campus clubs and organizations. This committee will meet Friday, Feb 2, March 1 and April 12 from 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. with (on-campus + remote). Students attending will receive a $40 stipend per meeting.
Students with the following qualifications are invited to apply:
- Enrolled in at least six (6) degree credits (any mode of instruction combination) at Madison College (any campus) for the service term.
- Observation skills including the ability to notice and predict opportunities, problems, and solutions.
- Ability to gather, understand, and interpret data and other information
- Ability to draw conclusions based on relevant data, information, personal knowledge and experience.
- Ability to think creatively by discovering patterns of information and making abstract connections between seemingly unrelated data.
- Skills in sharing and receiving information with others verbally, nonverbally and in writing.
- Skills in problem solving through gathering, analyzing and communicating information to identify and troubleshoot solutions.
