The Madison College Foundation wants to remind students of the many scholarship opportunities available to them. Students are encouraged to complete the Foundation’s fall 2024 scholarship application, which is open through April 25. 

The Foundation gifts scholarships to students based on a variety of qualifications and needs, aiding them in gaining higher education. During the 2023-2024 academic year the Foundation has awarded over 2,000 scholarships totaling in over $1.8 million.

Scholarships are open to any Madison College student who is enrolled in at least six credits for the semester they are applying to and has a 2.0 minimum GPA. 

Scholarship Application Tips 

• Complete the application fully. Treat the application like an exam, for each area you leave blank, points may be deducted. 

• Use your responses to the essay questions to share your personal story and show the reviewer that you are a “good investment.” Scholarships are funded by individuals and local companies that want to invest in your success and the future of our community.

• Share your educational and career plans with the reviewer and make the case why you deserve the scholarship award

• Don’t wait until the last day to apply. Students often encounter technical or personal issues that prevent them from submitting the application on time which results in disqualification.
