Madison College’s chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success inducted nine new members during a ceremony at the Truax Campus on Tuesday, April 16. Interim Provost Dr. Beth Giles was the keynote speaker.
Chapter advisor Sean Green and officers Michael Malone and Jostin Oviedo led the induction ceremony.
The newly inducted members were: Emily Breunig, Tammy Harden, Halie Losacker, Travis Manning, Colin York, Alexandria Dempich, Ashlyn Hessler, Laura Lund and Val Reichling.
Leader impact awards were present to Cesar Talavera, an academic advisor-psychology from U.W. Madison, and Jeff Quinlan, department chair of accounting and finance at Madison College.
The NSLS is the nation’s largest leadership honor society. With 809 chapters nationally, the organization has more than 2 million members. Madison College has inducted 681 members since the chapter was re-established in 2017. Lifetime chapter membership stands at 1,514.
