The WolfPack Volunteers is a 10-week program that connects Madison College students with community Wisconsin non-profit organizations to volunteer for two hours weekly for an entire semester. Students should sign up by Sept. 20 to participate during the fall semester.
When you sign you, you commit to volunteering for one shift a week for 10 weeks, starting the week of Sept. 30 and running through Dec. 6. You can sign up in WolfPack Connect. (https://cglink.me/2uT/s241)
The WolfPack Volunteers program is an opportunity for all students who are currently enrolled in at least one class at Madison College. There are just a couple of requirements that you’ll have to meet to become a WolfPack Volunteer:
- Choose an organization and volunteer slot that fits your schedule and interests. There are 10 service agencies to choose from.
- Attend and complete an orientation with the Madison College Volunteer Center before beginning the program. Students can attend orientations online or in person.
- Get ready to start making a difference in your community!
There are many benefits to volunteering. Students who volunteer can:
- Create meaningful connections with an array of diverse non-profit organizations and communities.
- Highlight a cause you are passionate about on your resume. Let your future employers know about your dedication to the community!
- Hone your leadership, communication, organizing, and time management skills in a community environment.
