Madison College’s Campfire Conversations is an adaptation of Living Room Conversations, a national model and toolkit for hosting communities and teaching them how to navigate difficult conversations.
Conversations allow participants to practice their civil discourse skills. The event opens with team building and then starts by setting conversation agreements. Conversations will have facilitators guide students through discussions regarding issues facing our communities. Data obtained through a recent Wisconsin Public Radio tabling event at Madison College will determine the subjects asked.
Campfire Conversations welcomes all students.
