The Madison College STEM Center and biology department are collaborating with several organizations to host a Youth Climate Conference at the college on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The theme of the conference is “Building a Sustainable Future.”
The conference will include information tables, a keynote speaker, student presentations and round-table discussions about how to build a sustainable future. The cost for the event is free and it includes conference registration, parking and lunch.
The keynote speaker will be McKenna Dunbar, the community engagement coordinator for the Virginia Sierra Club.
