Two instructors were honored and 19 were inducted into Madison College’s chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success during a ceremony on Nov. 20.
The induction ceremony was led by advisor Cole Kallio-Crotteau and students Rosalind Balton and Kongmeng Vang. The keynote address was given by Ellie Rome, the director of Student Life.
Dr. Jennifer Gavinski, a biology instructor at the Reedsburg Campus, and Xiaoyi Sun, a world languages instructor at the Truax Campus, were presented with the Impact Leader Award.
The students inducted into the organization were:
Rosalind Balton, Katlyn Breyer, Amelia Byers-Dent, Roxanne Frechette, Katelyn Gorder, Cody Johnson, Peyton Knutson, Alandra Kolze, Samantha Laub, Joshua Menendez.
McKenzie Messmann, Kyrie Mittelstadt, Ryan Payne, Mallory Proebstle, Claudia Santana, Kongmeng Vang, Angela Vazquez, Micaela Whitfield, Ryan Zabler.
Since the Madison College NSLS chapter was established in 2017, 414 members have been inducted into the organization.
The NSLS is a leadership organization that helps students achieve personal growth, career success and empowers them to have positive impact in their community. There are now 868 chapters and more than 2 million members nationwide.
