Join the American Red Cross and the Peer Health Educators as we teach the simple process of hands-only CPR to help save a life. Learning demonstrations will be offered on Monday, Feb. 24, from 11 a.m. to noon in the Truax Atrium.
What is Hands-Only CPR? Hands-only CPR is CPR without rescue breaths.
If you see a teen or adult collapse, you can perform hands-only CPR with just two easy steps:
1) Call 911
2) Push hard and fast in the center of the chest.
Many of those who survive a cardiac emergency are helped by a bystander. Learn to perform hands-only CPRE can help deliver life-saving care until first responders arrive.
The on-campus training is sponsored by the Madison College Peer Health Educators and the American Red Cross.
