Madison College and the RCC Sexual Violence Resource Center are partnering to bring a Healthy Relationships workshop to the Truax campus. The training is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Truax Room D1630C. 

The focus of the workshop will be to:  

• Recognize the ways power and control are exerted in abusive relationships.  

• Understand individual rights and responsibilities regarding sexual health and relationships.  

• Express emotions, boundaries, and concerns assertively in relationships.  

• Identify warning signs (red flags) and positive indicators (green flags) in various types of relationships.  

• Recognize how the intersection of different identities can influence and complicate power dynamics in relationships.
