Trep Time offers support for those that are fundraising for clubs in the student market and those pursuing their own small businesses. In this workshop, attendees can expect to talk with other people with similar interests and meet with Entrepreneur in Residence experts about their ideas, as well as receive guidance on topics such as free lancing, marketing, and intellectual property.
This event started to teach students how to network and market themselves, specifically as a way for student clubs to make up additional money to cover the difference in school funds. This also served as a way for new entrepreneurs to gain the connections and skills needed to build generational wealth.
The Trep Time Workshop takes place Thursday, March 13 at 11:30am to 1:30pm in room C1430 at the Truax Campus. Feel free to stay the whole time or drop in throughout the workshop. All students and community members pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors are welcome and encouraged to come.
If you have an interest in further entrepreneurial activities, please check out Madison College’s Center for Entrepreneurship to receive more information about guidance and activities. You can contact them at [email protected].
