
Jose Villarreal will serve as the Madison College Student Senate president for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Results of Student Senate election were recently announced. Villarreal and the new Student Senate leadership will take office starting May 8.
Other elected officers were:
Quinn Mattsson, vice president of administration and finance.
Bradley Burt, vice president of legislative affairs.
Jophia Turner, vice president of team development.
Ari Nicols, vice president of public relations.
Student elected to serve as general senators were: Sanjay Jagadeesh, Annette Crowder, Nandine Battulga, Ashley Larson, Evan Sullivan Richgels, Aiman Adam Sharafadin, Andy Moreno Portillo, Sierra Brunner, Angel Avila and Correy Sertzel.
Students elected to serve as regional campus representatives were: Joaquin Larriva, Goodman South Campus; Justin Sanders, Watertown Campus; John McRea, Portage Campus; Furkan Sindar, Reedsburg Campus. The Fort Atkinson seat is vacant. The entire 2025-2026 Student Senate was elected by the students attending Madison College to represent the voice and initiatives of the larger student body and can have a seat at the table in the decision-making process.
