Celebrate Hmong American Day on Wednesday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Truax Campus in Room D1630. The event celebrates 50 years of resilience, contributions, and rich cultural heritage of the Hmong American community.
This day commemorates the Hmong people’s journey to the U.S. after the Vietnam War, their role as allies in the Secret War, and their enduring impact on American society. Engage in discussions, experience cultural traditions, and celebrate the legacy of Hmong Americans in shaping history and the future.
Students can connect with Angie Yang ([email protected]) for more details and ways to get involved.
The event is sponsored by the Intercultural Exchange, the Office of Campus Culture & Climate and the Office of Community Engagement and Impact.
