The Yahara Journal Student Art show is now open in the Truax Gallery and runs through May 16. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 2, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Gallery. 

Every year, the Yahara Journal’s Student Art Show is a showcase of work from students from across Madison College. This year’s show features 47 pieces from 20 students. Each year, we are amazed by the caliber of work produced by students from all walks of life. 

The Yahara Journal is Madison College’s student-produced fine arts and literary journal. Its mission is to support creativity and the arts throughout the college community. The group hosts open mics, poetry readings, contests and art shows in addition to producing an annual print journal.
