Full steam ahead for Master Plan
The construction phase of the Madison College Facilities Master Plan is scheduled to commence in July according to Facilities Director Mike Stark. Currently the college is in the approval and final design process. Although the renderings of the Allied Health Building and the additional wing of Truax are nearly complete, there are still cosmetic details that need to be worked out.
Help with taxes
Free income tax preparation and electronic filing for all Madison College students and staff is being sponsored by the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Assistance is offered Tuesday afternoons by appointment only in room 376AB.
Little Shop of Horrors
Performing Arts will be presenting Little Shop of Horrors in the Mitby Theatre February 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and February 6and 13 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are free for students with a OneCard and $15 for general admission.
Help wanted at PAC
The Programs and Activities Council (PAC) is hiring a student to coordinate recreational tournaments in the Wolf Pack Den. Students will receive $300 per semester for this role. For more information stop by the Student Life Office at Truax room 140 for a job description and an application.
Latin dance during lunch
If you enjoy dancing, join your classmates on Wednesday Feb. 2 from 11:30-2:30 in Truax room 101. Music and instruction will be provided for Salsa, Cumbia, and Merengue. If you would like to do a different kind of dance, bring the music and be prepared to teach the basic steps.
