Madison College is mourning the loss of Randy Hammer, a senior project leader of Information Technology Services, who passed away Aug. 29. He was found on the Truax campus early that morning, having suffered from cardiac complications.

Randy was with Madison College nearly a decade, and will be greatly missed by our staff. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, and their large family. A memorial service and celebration of life was held Sept. 4. Our condolences go out to all family and friends.

Dr. Jack Daniels III, Madison College president, expressed the college’s sympathies: “Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his family, friends and colleagues. His contributions to Madison College were many and we lost a valuable team member. He will be missed and remembered fondly.”
