Public Safety officers respond to many calls for service and we enjoy communicating our activities to the college community. Here are some of the notable incidents from this past month.
On Dec. 31, Public Safety officers responded to a medical emergency and rendered aid. A student had suffered a seizure outside on campus, during the episode the student fell forward and was bleeding from the face. City of Madison paramedics responded and the subject was transported to a local hospital for the injuries.
On Dec. 31, Public Safety officers responded to a complaint of a male observing inappropriate material on a campus computer. In addition to the lewd act, the subject was identified as a trespasser and was removed from campus by officers.
Campus Safety Update
Just a friendly reminder to students and staff the use of E-Cigarettes is not permitted on or in any Madison College property. E-Cigarettes fall under the same policies and regulations as all smoking or tobacco products. You must be on the city sidewalk to use E-Cigarettes.
