Health Clinic offers services for Madison College students

The Madison College Community Clinic is located inside the Health Education building on the first floor Room 151A. When a student first walks into the clinic, they are helped by someone at the front desk. Receptionists give students a small information card, which explains the services it offers, and steps to seek care at the clinic.
The clinic provides services to students on campus, and staff/faculty at Madison College. All the services given are at no cost, but some may have fees that apply.
For example services such as, allergy symptoms, cold, flue like symptoms, fever, ear problems, eye problems, minor sprains/strains, skin problems, stomach problems, urinary tract problems, TB testing, sports physical for college athletes, basic tests such as throat cultures and urinalysis are included at no cost. While services such as, annual physicals ($30), vaccinations (fees vary), Influenza (flu) shot ($13), and lab and x-ray cost an extra fee.
All a student will need is their One-Card to register and be eligible for clinic visits. They have an option of choosing to register, or schedule an appointment online, on phone, or by walking into the clinic. The hours of operation for the clinic are Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Tuesday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Student health appointments are available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vaccinations, ordered labs, and nurse triage services are available starting at 7 a.m.
Since the clinic opened, it has served eight people or more on daily bases. The clinic is specifically built for students and to help them with their health issues.
