Public Safety Report

What’s happening? Public Safety Officers respond to many calls for service and we communicate our activities to the college community. Here are some of the notable incidents from this past month.
On Dec. 4, Public Safety Officers responded to a violent disturbance in progress. Upon arrival the parties were separated and with the assistance of the Madison Police Department, one subject was taken into custody and transported to jail by the Madison Police.
On Dec. 9, Public Safety Officers received a call that a student had a firearm pointed at him while driving near campus. Public Safety Officers with Madison Police attempted to locate the suspect vehicle and documented the information. The suspect vehicle was not located on any Madison College owned or leased property.
On Dec. 17, Public Safety Officers responded to a person unconscious. Officers rendered aid until Madison Paramedics arrived and transported the patient to a medical facility.
