Monday March 11 Sonya Renee Taylor will speak in the Mitby Theater at 7 p.m. Taylor is the author of “The Body is Not an Apology: The Power of Radical Self-Love”
The Madison College Book Club invited Taylor to speak as part of the Radical Self-Love Book Club Movement where people will talk about the issues that come with body acceptance.
Optical Dispensary open
now through April 11
The Optical Dispensary began they’re spring hours in February and will be available until Thursday April 11. Students and staff can have minor repairs or adjustments done and they can order new glasses.
The optometric technician students run the dispensary and are supervised by trained instructors.
The dispensary is open on Thursdays from 1-2:50 p.m.
Fridays 9:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m.

Two open houses for
Scholars of Promise set
This semester will see two open houses hosted by the Scholars of Promise office. The first open house is on Tuesday March 26 and the second one is Wednesday March 27.
Both events will go from 11 a.m.—2 p.m. inside room B1200 behind Public Safety. There will also be food and conversation is welcomed.
