Public Safety
March 5, 2019
Public Safety Officers respond to many calls for service and we communicate our activities to the college community. Here are some of the notable incidents from the past couple weeks.
On Feb. 26, a Public Safety Officer made contact with a man attempting to sleep overnight in the building. The man was identified and was found not to be a Madison College student and was escorted off property and warned for trespassing.
On Feb. 26, officers responded to a report of a man who was found unconscious in the main hallway. Officers rendered aid to the man and guided Madison Paramedics to the individual so he could be treated by them.
On Feb. 14, Public Safety Officers participated in the Stop the Bleed event, put on by Madison College Recreation Management students. The event highlighted the importance of effective bleeding control in emergency situations.
