Yahara Journal to hold annual
book release celebration
The Yahara Journal is hosting a book release celebration for is 2019 edition on Friday, April 26, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Truax Room C1430 (the Intercultural Exchange).
Those who attend can pick up free copies of the new Yahara Journal and meet some of the student authors and artist featured in the book. The event is free and open to the public.
Campus Clean Up set for April 26
Celebrate Earth Day with the Volunteer Center and Phi Theta Kappa by helping them clean up the campus on April 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Meet at the Student Life Office (B1260) to receive trash bags and gloves. Participants will then go outside to pick up trash, spread mulch and help prepare the campus grounds for spring.
Madison College Pow Wow
will be held on April 27
The Office of Equity, Inclusion and Community Engagement presents the annual Madison College Pow Wow on Saturday, April 27, in the Redsten Gymnasium at the Truax Campus. Spend the day at the campus enjoying dancing, drumming, crafts, food and much more.
Campus Cookouts will be held
at the Madison Campuses
Students can enjoy free food and entertainment at the annual campus cookouts. The cookouts will be held on the following dates, times and locations:
- Downtown Campus – Tuesday, April 30, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Truax Campus – Thursday, May 2, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- South Campus – Tuesday, May 7, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Commercial Avenue Campus –Wednesday, May 8, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is free and open to Madison College students, staff and faculty.
