Nick Satina

For the second time this season, sophomore standout Nick Satina has taken first place overall in golf tournament. On Sept. 13, Satina won the College of DuPage Tournament by finishing with an 18-hole total of 75. He also took top honors earlier this season at the Highland “36” Invitational.

Satina is the son of George and Rhoda Satina. He is a graduate of Pardeeville High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner in golf. He was named all-state his senior year, when his high school team qualified for the Division 3 state meet. He finished tied for 21st as an individual at the state meet.

VOLLEYBALL

Katlynn Wirag

A sophomore outside hitter from Stoughton High School, Wirag has started all 12 matches for the Madison College volleyball team this year. In those starts, she has had 107 kills, 112 digs and 14 aces. Last year she played in 24 matches for the National Champion WolfPack, recording 99 kills, 25 aces, and 146 digs.

The daughter of Joe and Tammy Wirag, she is a liberal arts major at Madison College. In high school, she was team MVP her senior season and was named to the second team all-conference squad for the Badger South Conference.
