MEN’S SOCCER
Jake Andrews
Jake Andrews has started all 12 games at midfielder for the Madison College men’s soccer team this season. He is tied for third on the team in goals scored with eight and has nine assists.
It is his first year on the men’s soccer team after playing two seasons with the WolfPack men’s basketball team. Last year, he played in all 26 games for the basketball team, scoring a total of 84 points and grabbing 19 rebounds. He also had 28 assists and 14 steals. An international student from Suffolk, England, he attended St. Edmunds County Upper School. A liberal arts major, he is the son of Stephen and Sara Andrews.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Katie Travis
A sophomore midfielder on the Madison College women’s soccer team, Katie Travis has started all 12 games this season. Travis leads the team with 11 assists and is tied for second with eight goals. She has taken 35 shots this year, 17 on goal.
Last year, she started 13 of the team’s 14 matches and scored five goals and had a team-high seven assists.
A four-year letter winner in soccer at Burlington High School, Travis was named team captain as a senior. The daughter of Steve and Julie Travis, she is a liberal arts major.
