Men’s Soccer
Jake Andrews
A sophomore midfielder on the men’s soccer team, Jake Andrews has scored three goals and had one assist this season. Andrews has taken 20 shots in the seven matches he has played through Sept. 22 this season. Last year, Andrews scored 14 goals to finish second on the team and recorded a team-leading 14 assists in 17 games. He was named first team all-conference and first team all-region for his play.
Andrews comes to Madison College from Suffolk, England. He and his brother Toby both played basketball and soccer at Madison College. A liberal arts major, he is the son of Stephen and Sara Andrews.
Women’s Soccer
Britt Schumann
A freshman striker on the women’s soccer team, Britt Schumann has started and played in all seven games this season. She leads the team with 11 goals and has had one assist. She has taken 34 shots, with 28 of them being on goal.
Schumann was a four-year letter winner in soccer at DeForest Area High School and was an honor athlete recipient as a senior. A dental hygiene major at Madison College, she is the daughter of Beth and Lonny Schumann.
The WolfPack women’s soccer team now stands at 6-0-1 overall and 5-1 in the North Central Community College Conference.
