Men’s Basketball

Tyree Young

A 5-foot, 11-inch sophomore on the Madison College men’s basketball team, Tyree Young has started all six games for the team this year and is scoring a team-high 14.7 points a game. He also has 23 rebounds, 16 assists and 13 steals. Last year, he started 27 games and averaged 13 points a game and was named second-team all-conference and all-region. Young made the N4C academic all-conference team.

A graduate of Nicolet High School, Young was team MVP his senior season and averaged 14.5 points a game. A physical therapy student at Madison College, he is the son of Evelyn and Chauncey Young.

Women’s Basketball

Caitlyn Gilbertson

A 5-foot, 10-inch forward, Caitlyn Gilbertson is in her first year with the Madison College women’s basketball team. She has started all six games this season and is third on the team in scoring with 12.7 points a game. She is also tied for first in rebounding with 52.

Gilbertson was a three-sport athlete at Belmont High School, where she was named second team all-conference her junior and senior seasons. She played in teh WBCA All-Star Game. An accounting major at Madison College, she is the daughter of Tim and Lauren Gilbertson.
