Softball

Ashley Kniesel

A sophomore infielder on the Madison College softball team, Ashley Kniesel is currently hitting .324 with 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored. She has two doubles. Last year, she batted .336 with 50 hits including 14 doubles and three home runs. She scored 37 runs and drove in 28, finishing in the top five in most offensive statistics.

A graduate of Waterloo High School, Kniesel was a four time letter winner in softball and a four-time all-conference selection and third team all-state her junior and senior seasons. The daughter of Gary Kniesel and Amy Schwebs, she is a dental hygiene major.

Baseball

Jack Eagan

A lefthanded pitcher, Jack Eagan is in his second season with the Madison College baseball team. Last year, he was named first team All-North Central Community College Conference and All-Region IV. He posted a 7-2 record as a freshman and had a 2.16 ERA. So far this year, he has allowed just one earned run in 11 innings pitched and struck out 10.

A graduate of Wautoma High School, Eagan was a four-time all-conference selection and three-time conference player of the year. The son of John and Tanya Eagan, he is a liberal arts major at Madison College.
