Week 14 is already a playoff week for some leagues (my league starts in week 14) or it can be one week away from the playoff week for others. Regardless of the league schedules, this week is do or die scenario because once you lose, you are out. I am anxiously waiting for the result from week 13 because if I win, I clinch the first place with a bye week in week 14. If I lose, I need some luck to be in top two teams to get a bye week. Currently, I am in good hand, but you never know what can happen in this fantasy football world with a player scoring over 50 points in one game.

Quarterbacks (QB)

1. Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles) – Hurts replaced Wentz and did pretty well in terms of fantasy (109 throwing yards with a touchdown (TD) and an interception and 29 rushing yards). What I like about Hurts is his mobility. The next matchup against the Saints is likely a high scoring game, so Hurts has a plenty of time to run and throw.

Running Backs (RB)

1. Ty Johnson (New York Jets) – Wait what? Jets RB? I know, but with Frank Gore in questionable to play, Johnson filled in nicely with 104 rushing yards with a TD and 13 receiving yards. If you need a starting RB, Johnson is the guy.

2. Adrian Peterson (Detroit Lions) – Peterson has showed some flesh of his old form by rushing 112 yards with four TDs. The TD department may not be consistent, but he seems like flex spot at least for now. Enjoy his momentum!

Wide Receivers

1. T.Y. Hilton (Indianapolis Colts) – Hilton’s fantasy season has not been great until the last two games. He showed that he is still valuable by catching 12 times with 191 yards with two TDs in the past two weeks. Should we trust his last two weeks or the first 10 weeks?

2. Greg Ward (Philadelphia Eagles) – Ward was leading the Eagles receivers now with three receptions and 57 yards with a TD. Hurts showed some chemistry with Ward, which could make him worth a flex spot at least.

Tight End (TE)

1. Drew Sample (Cincinnati Bengals) – Sample tied the most targets in the Bengals’ receiving with seven targets last week after Burrow is gone. Sample had seven receptions with 49 yards, which does not seem that much. However, with a small number of elite TEs this year, Sample may not be a bad investment.

2. Mike Gesicki (Miami Dolphins) – Gesicki performed as top three TE last week with nine receptions and 88 yards with a TD. I bet he was exciting to see Tua Tagovailoa under control, and their chemistry seems to fit well so far.

Defense/Special Team (D/ST)

1. Carolina Panthers D/ST – Denver Broncos’ offense has been struggling all year, and this is another great matchup for the panthers before they face deadly Green Bay Packers offense a week after.

2. Cincinnati Bengals D/ST – After Dak Prescott is injured, the Dallas Cowboys lost their momentum. The Bengals will perform well just like they did against the New York Giants a couple weeks ago.

Kicker
