The Madison College Athletic Department recently unveiled two new initiatives: an effort to recognize athletes with the highest cumulative GPA from each team and plans to hold an alumni weekend each fall.

Called the WolfPack 9, the academic recognition honors the top student athletes from each of the nine varsity sports for each semester. It is part of the department’s ONEPACK initiative to better encompass the student-athlete experience and development at the college.

The WolfPack 9 from the Fall 2024 semester were:

• Marcelino Alonso, baseball.
• Noah Freeman, esports.
• Enzo Guimarães, men’s soccer.
• Peter Gustafson, golf.
• Camilla Hauser, women’s basketball.
• Emma McGlynn, women’s soccer.
• Addyson McHugh, volleyball.
• Cullen Rauls, men’s basketball.
• Ava Stahl, softball.

The inaugural Madison College Athletics Alumni Weekend is scheduled for Oct. 9-11, 2025, and will be held every October.
Players from the past will be invited to campus to reunite with former teammates and coaches and spend time with current WolfPack teams.

In addition, the Madison College Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held during alumni weekend, moving from its traditional spring event.
