Cultural Connect is a buddy program that pairs interested U.S. and International students in a semester-long peer mentoring partnership. The goal of Cultural Connect is to foster meaningful interactions that will help integrate international students into the campus culture and help U.S. students cultivate global competencies.

Throughout the semester, the group will host several social events and outings in the Madison Area, as well as regular meetup opportunities on campus to foster friendship and sharing/support to students interested in this intercultural community building project.
Each pair will be required to attend three social events and meet regularly with their partner in activities planned by the Center for International Education during the semester.
These events will include: a cultural potluck, a welcome event, a cross-cultural training session and other fun activities in the Madison area.
In addition, each pair will keep a monthly journal of any activities they have done.
